Version 15.0 marks a major milestone with a full AI-assisted refactoring of the codebase, delivering a significantly more stable and responsive experience. This release focuses on refined usability, performance optimization, and a cleaner interface.

AI-Refactored Engine

The core code has been overhauled using AI-assisted improvements for better performance and smoother keypress detection.

Optimized Memory Management

Fixed underlying memory usage issues to ensure the app remains lightweight even during extended use.

Refined Refresh & Zoom

Streamlined available refresh rates and limited zoom factors for maximum viewing stability.

Usability & Interface

Dynamic Window Movement

Move the magnifier window directly by clicking and dragging when the cursor is over it.

Title Bar Enhancements

Added a thin border when the title bar is hidden to help maintain visual focus.

Polished Navigation

Reorganized menu items and updated captions for a more intuitive experience.

Improved Dialogs

Enhanced the behavior of the About dialog for better clarity.

Clean-Up

Removed: The β€œShow Transparent Windows” option has been retired to improve compatibility with modern Windows environments.

Magnifixer 12.0 released
Scrolling the mouse wheel inadvertently changed the magnification level, so this behaviour has been removed entirely for a much better feel.

UI font update for Windows 7/8 compatibility. Two new undo/redo buttons added to the main screen (previously only available via right-click). Added ability to find the closest HTML color via right-click on the HTML color combobox.
